Effective date: July 15, 2026
Lets Mute (“the app”) is made by LetsCrak. This policy explains what information the app and this website handle, and — more importantly — what they don’t. The short version: your data stays on your phone. We don’t collect it, we don’t store it, and we can’t see it.
What the app collects
Nothing. Lets Mute has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of its own. Your rules, schedules, zones, and settings are stored only on your device. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Permissions the app uses, and why
Lets Mute asks for a small number of Android permissions. Each one exists for exactly one feature:
Do Not Disturb access. Android requires this permission for any app that changes the sound mode. Lets Mute uses it only to switch your phone between sound, vibrate, and silent. It never reads your notifications — this permission doesn’t grant access to notification content, and the app doesn’t request notification access.
Location permission. Android only shares the name of the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to with apps that hold location permission, and geofences (location zones) also require it. Lets Mute uses location solely to match your Wi-Fi rules and run your zones, entirely on your device. Your location is never tracked, stored, logged, or transmitted. Nothing leaves your phone.
Calendar access. Used only to show your events inside the app and to mute for the duration of an event you choose. Event details are read on-device and are never uploaded anywhere.
Notifications. Used to show you what the app is doing — for example, when sound will be restored after a timer.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is purchased through Google Play and is tied to your Google Play account. Payment is processed entirely by Google; we never see your name, email address, or payment details. Google’s handling of your purchase is covered by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. If your subscription lapses, nothing is deleted — your premium rules simply pause on your device and resume when you re-subscribe.
What this website collects
This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting; these are not used to identify or profile you.
Children
Lets Mute is not directed at children under 13, and because the app collects no personal data, no personal data from children is collected either.
Data deletion
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all rules and settings from your device. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled anytime in Google Play.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app or website handles data, we’ll update this page and change the effective date at the top. Any change that involved collecting data would be reflected in the app’s Play Store listing as well.
